Manager – Senior Network Engineer Role

Job Summary:
We are looking for technically very strong candidates, with a strong understanding of Networking Systems. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design of highly available large-scale telephony networks, driving them from concept to launch
• Work closely with our software developers to fully automate network deployment and operations
• Drive operational excellence projects to improve network performance and reliability
• Enforce and strengthen security levels of the data centers.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions
• Dive Deep into the high severity of incidents, recommend preventative solutions, and participate in root cause analysis
• Partner with our broader Technical operations organization to reduce operational burden
• Support in organizational transformation from reactive to proactive with a focus on predictiveness
• Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes
• Drive standards across the network and ensure that we are fully compliant to those standards and policies
• Participate in hiring and developing the best
• Help enforce and/or tweak SLAs for existing deployments to improve efficiency
• Stakeholder management

Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor / master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience with LAN/WAN/SD-WAN infrastructure
• Knowledge and experience in telecom SBC
• Knowledge and experience with internet routing protocols and concepts: SIP, WEBRTC, TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS
• Knowledge and experience with network security and various secured VPN technologies
• Knowledge and experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment, DNS and DHCP
• Experience in various network monitoring tools
• Experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming
• Knowledge of various end-user devices and their network interactions
• Proficiency in configuring and managing networking devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, SBC
• Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis
• A “DevOps” mindset. You own what you will develop.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a head for problem-solving.
• Team-player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong project management skills, issue priority.
